This set is comprised of a medium output neck and a hot bridge humbucker, designed to comfortably cover the heaviest of metal but still remain versatile enough to cover softer genres too.
The bridge utilises overwound coils over a ceramic magnet to add the breadth and bark that is required in heavier styles but retaining enough highs to cover softer ones. These are extremely expressive pickups allowing you to very accurately control your sound by the way in which you pick the strings and the force applied. The sound is reminiscent of the 70s/80s hard rock / metal. Clarity and mid range punch is desired in these genres; and these have those two things in spades.
The neck is a more modest animal. It is wound like a PAF on steroids. It has the glassy top end and articulation that a PAF is fabled for, but with an extra kick, to keep up with the powerful bridge. It has ample clarity and craves dirt.
