This is a medium output pickup set designed for maximum versatility.

This is our 'middle of the range' pickup set, able to span a wide range of soft genres, right up to heavier ones. This has a bright and articulate neck pickup that will never get muddy regardless of how much gain you throw it at. Bright, however, does not mean thin or weak. This pickup blends just the right amount of high end to keep it from being muddy and a nice chunky mid and low end to keep leads tight and fat. The bridge is a 42awg/43 awg hybrid. A hybrid pickup is a pickup wound differently on each bobbin, this removes a lot of the frequency cancellation that is leached along with the hum cancellation of a humbucker. As each bobbin has a different resonant frequency this allows a broad frequency spectrum, greater high end and detail intensity that is simply impossible to achieve with a standard humbucker.

Indian Summer Neck Pickup

I replaced the EMG 85 in the neck position of my Jackson Dinky with the neck version of the Indian Summer. I wanted something more in the PAF ballpark in terms of tone and output (I don't really like hot neck pickups, and the EMG 85 was just too hot and compressed), and Alex suggested the Indian Summer.

It's really nice. It's very sweet-sounding, really clear and open-sounding, very balanced in tone, and a good all-rounder- it has great cleans and great higher gain lead tones too. It's fairly low in output although it has plenty of output to match with most bridge pickups- I have mine paired with a high output Bentbucker in the bridge and the Indian Summer hangs just fine.

The product description is spot-on. Highly recommended if you like a sweet-sounding PAF-style neck pickup.

Humbucker Plus !

after some research opted for this in the neck position for a project telecaster, found it true to the product description but unexpected additional benefits :
almost single coil characteristics in the clarity and definition , very dynamic so a lot of response variations in volume and tones by altering pick attack , a good even eq balance - which is always welcome on a tele, matched up with Alegree Typhoon in bridge ( see separate review) gives an outstanding classic tele mid position sound also.
