One of the most important traits inherited from the Swede guitar is Hagstrom’s classic tailpiece design with its massive blocks directly coupled to the body for optimal transmission of string energy, a key contributor to the Swede Bass’s thunderous, piano-like tones. The pickups on the Swede Bass are derived from its not-too-distant cousin, the Viking Bass, and will delight players looking for sonic versatility; from classic to modern, these pickups deliver it all.
