The WSH12 is a passive wood cased humbucker with 12 adjustable pole pieces. Small dual humbucker coils sit above an alnico 5 bar magnet internally, giving this pickup a warm, smooth and natural tone.
The pickup mounts with padded clamps on either side of the pickups body to the inside of your acoustic guitar's soundhole. The output of the pickup runs directly to a standard sized 6.35mm (1/4 inch) output jack socket. The socket is designed to be strapped on to your strap pins with the cut out, allowing the output to easily exit the instrument without any internal wiring required.
The pickup clocks in at 9.5k, giving it a moderate output to feed an amp directly without the need for any preamplification.
