Solderless setup with all required wiring available here.

Based on the famous early '50s telecaster pickups, this pair will give you the creamy leads, the searing highs and that famous 'in-between sound'. Wound a touch hotter than the standard '50s pickups to compensate for the thinner strings, they will fulfil all your telecaster tone cravings. You'll quickly realise how you've been missing out with your accurate recreations!

The alnico poles give a glassy top end, a restrained yet still present mid, and a solid, tight bass response. Add to these vintage accurate magnets the standard brass cover on the neck and a copper covered steel baseplate, and you've got a telecaster set that will have enough twang to cover the most southern country but still able to triumph in other genres.

The modern wire and wind pattern creates an unparalleled level of clarity. Normal Tele neck pickups are wound with some of the darkest wire around - then a brass cover is slipped on top to suck up the rest of the treble! A horrible design for guitar playing (but great for bass imitation, which is what it was originally designed for). We've ripped up the old design, utilised brighter wire and a low tension wind to open up the neck position, giving it a Stratty quality that is so much more versatile.

The bridge is wound a little hotter than usual, this fills out the mid range and removes any sharp, shrill high end. Combined with the modern wire and, again, low tension wind, this results in a clear, full sounding bridge pickup that is not just a one trick pony. Phenomenally versatile under all levels of gain - a Teleaster pickup set design is not complete until it is thoroughly tested through a 5150 with the gain maxed. Which other pickup builders put their Tele pickups through such strenuous tests?

Accurate website description

Again, pleasantly surprised to purchase a product that lives up to the website description. Be prepared for a little bit of background hum even with good grounding and screening but the response and personality of the pickups completely negates this and if you find them too bright try a 0.1 uf cap as I did and they balance out pleasingly with a linear 250k tone pot.
Great value for money .

Possibly the finest tele pickups going?

I cannot believe these are not twice the price! The cirrostratus are a hidden gem, I've never been a fan of the tele neck pickup, until I got these! Totally turned me back onto the original formula. Already working on the next build and I know exactly which set of pickups are going in, it'll be another set of these.

If Carlsberg made pickups

I honestly can't say enough good things about this pickup, the construction is excellent, and the sound is superb. Possibly the most definitively "telecaster" sounding pickup I've ever had.
I purchased for a home built blackguard esquire project, installed with the Mick Eldred Cocked Wah circuit, this has become an instant favourite, replacing my trusty Jap tele.

If you want that definitive telecaster sound, look no further.
