The Livewire Classic 2 uses alnico 2 rod magnets with a specially designed coil & preamp to deliver vintage Stratocaster output and tone. The treble is dialled for high end brilliance, while the mids stay punchy, and the low end is ultra-tight. This pickup is a great alternative to passive hum-cancelling vintage-voiced Strat pickups.Pair with our LiveWire II Classic Strat neck.Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Livewire 2 Classic comes with everything you need for installation, including 25k pots, battery clip, stereo output jack, tone capacitor, and extra wire. These are all epoxy potted and use a standard 9-Volt battery.
