High quality Jazz bass pickups made with US standard components (flatwork, alnico rods) as rarely found in pickups at this price point. They are made to the same standards, but at a sensible price.

Combining both alnico 5 rods and modest winds (7.2k neck, 7.6k bridge), these pickups have a thicker mid range than the vintage equivalents, but are close enough to remain clear and articulate. They're wound with standard 42 AWG to keep in line with vintage style pickups. They have a slight mid range push and a small output difference.

Sizes
Length - 91mm (neck) 95mm (bridge)
Width - 18mm (neck and bridge)
String spacing - 56mm (neck) 60mm (bridge)
Depth - 20mm (neck and bridge)

Specifications
Resistance - 7.2k (neck) 7.6k (bridge)
Magnets - 8 x alnico 5 rods
Output wires - white/black cloth covered (neck) yellow/black cloth covered (bridge)

Just Superb

I fitted these pickups on a Harley Benton 'Jazz' fretless, and it's transformed it. Not particularly higher output (the original Wilkinson pickups were about 7kOhms) but they just sound better - as a previous poster mentioned, they are characterful. Another difference is in the interaction between the two pickups - so much tonal variation is on tap simply by altering the balance. For this price there's no reason not to replace both pickups. Very pleased indeed.

Pickups arrived. Alegree is a great seller on ebay everything came as promised. I have never had a dodgy product from alegree ever. I have been dealing with Alegree for years and hope for more years to come. Excellent 👍🎸👏

Not rumbly, but very good!

I put these on my 1970s CSL made in Japan jazz bass as a restoration project. Perhaps the name is a bit misleading. They are not dull, and don't rumble, but they are very clear and fun sounding. And not harshly bright either. Just loads of character.
